About Us
Our names are Al Hoke and Josh Thomas, father and son, and we created kickin-it Gaming, Inc. We have always been a close family that enjoys large gatherings either on our family farm in the Georgia countryside, on the lake, at the beach, or in the North Georgia mountains where we play backyard games including corn hole, softball, volleyball, horseshoes, you name it! Getting together as a family has always been something we all enjoy and cherish and have carried this tradition from generation to generation.
Al, being an avid sports fan, always wanted to create an outdoor game for kids. When Al retired after 45 years as a paramedic/firefighter, he went to work to fulfill his dream of designing a backyard kicking game for everyone, especially kids. Josh, a graduate from Georgia Tech, jumped in to help his dad achieve this dream. So, the two of them went to work to build a prototype of kickin-it and kickin-it Gaming, Inc. was born.
Our family and friends are now all raving about kickin-it. All the kids want to play during our family gatherings is kickin-it. Because we saw the fun and interest in the game, we decided to take our dream one step further, and produce the game for you and your family’s enjoyment. You can now own your own kickin-it game and have hours of fun with all your family and friends.
